Sunday Morning Children’s Programs

At WCC Kids, your children learn about God and the Bible in ways that are exciting, relevant, and fun.

At WCC Kids, our mission is to help children encounter God and grow in an relationship with Him in a safe and fun atmosphere. Your children will learn about God and the Bible in ways that are exciting, relevant, and fun.

Our programs are specifically designed to attract the hearts of children in such a way that their WCC Kids experience is the most exciting and enjoyable hour of their week. At the same time our goal is to creatively teach relevant principles from the Word of God that are understandable and applicable even for the smallest child. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

WHO IS TAKING CARE OF MY CHILD AT WCC KIDS?

We have an incredible team of WCC Kids volunteers. Our volunteers are our heroes, and every week we make sure they have all they need to take great care of your kids.

If you’re a new parent to WCC Kids, the volunteers working with your child’s age group will be happy to introduce themselves and answer any questions you might have.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR MY CHILD WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?

If you are interested in visiting and you have a child with special needs, please contact us so that we can be prepared to serve your family and minister to your child.

We are always looking for volunteers who want to help serve in WCC Kids. If you are interested in getting involved please contact us.

During the Sunday morning service, your children are welcome to participate in our children’s’ programs and/or stay with you. We have a nursery/ nursing mothers room where the parents are able to stay with their babies, see, and hear the service. The room has large windows so the mothers & fathers feel like part of the service. Comfortable gliders help the babies feel calm so you can be part of the service while being a with your little one.

We have a Toddler Room (Children 1 year through 2 years old) located across from the upper bathrooms. The children have a blast playing, singing, and learning about God through puppets, props, and lessons. The Toddler class uses the very well loved Puggles Curriculum from Awana. Children learn foundational truths about the Bible as they go through the year. Children are welcomed each week with play time, songs and simple crafts and activities. Your children’s ministry leaders present age-appropriate lessons using large, colorful teaching cards, finger puppet plays and more. Lessons teach and reinforce four basic biblical precepts:

  • God Made Everything
  • God Saw That It Was Good
  • God is Love
  • Give Thanks
